Fort Lauderdale voters invited to meet city candidates
The voters of Fort Lauderdale can meet all the candidates running in the upcoming city elections at two forums that will be held in City Hall.
The Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations will host the forums. The first is on Jan. 29, just before the Feb. 10 primary election. The candidates will be interviewed at this forum by the Council of Civic Associations.
The second forum is Feb. 26, in advance of the March 10 general election.
Both sessions will begin at 7 p.m. in City Hall, 100 N. Andrews Ave, with Christopher Pollock, former president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, moderating.

Some questions, in brief, please:
1. Party affiliation?
2. Global-warming paradigm: proponent or opponent?
3. Economic crises: federal gov. intervention necessary or no?
4. Property taxes: too high or no?
5. Pay-as-you-go or tax-and-spend?
Thank you for your valuable time!
